This illustration shows Misssion Santa Clara and scenes of the daily life of
its inhabitants soon after its had been founded in 1777

Another early view of the mission.

This early 20th century view shows Mission Santa Clara with twin
bell towers. This mostly wooden structure was destroyed by fire in 1926.

A fragment of the original cross that was part of the original dedication
ceremony is encased in this concrete cross which stands in front of the mission.

Scrapbook postcards are from the personal collection of the artist and are posted for your study and enjoyment.
